Lalania's Creative Journey

So it’s been a while since I’ve posted here – been kinda hibernating, I guess .

Well, I found out that we actually have a Tulip Festival here in BC and it has been happening for the last couple of weeks. I wanted to go last week, but didn’t get the opportunity as I originally wanted to go with my husband, but he is an accountant and it’s tax season and he is a wee bit busy at the moment. I looked up the website (Tulips of the Valley) on Thursday and found out that Friday was the last day! They had to change it because of all the rain we’ve had. So I drove out Friday afternoon to get some pictures of the last blooms they had out in the field. (Next year I will have to remember to go earlier.)

We are staying on Coronado Island at the Coronado Beach Resort. We spent the first day here exploring the area.

We headed down to San Diego on Sunday and the first stop had to be In n’ Out Burgers.

Unfortunately, I spent most of this day inside and only got to see the sun through the window!

So the other day, I had another reminder that I am not guaranteed tomorrow. I’m not even guaranteed my next breath! It is time to live life like there’s no tomorrow – I have heard this time and time again and then a few days later, I find myself taking it all for granted. But, really, I have to take heed and listen to this and stop wasting time, get on with the things I have been given to do.
